Either bring your equipment to the workshop or we will come to you, assess if the fault can be resolved conveniently and quickly in your property. If it is not possible to fix the item in your property we will remove the item for repair in our workshop, before returning and reconnecting it to all your other equipment.

we carry out full servicing and certain modifications to technics turntables to return them to there former glory or even better if you prefer.

service on a sl-1210 mk2 would include for instance :-  

Lubrication of shaft, replacement of thermal paste, repairing dry and bothered joints, replacing the troublesome resistor that causes speed issues and changing to the recommended value. adjusting gimble to correct tension, setting cartridge angle, cleaning of cartridge connectors, Calibration of pitch, adjust tonearm height and adjust brake.

Faults

 

Faults may include failures such as Dead or stuck in standby, flashing led standby light, sound but no picture, picture but no sound, turns on or off on its own, distorted sound, flickering picture, lines on screen or dark patches and can occur on LED, LCD, OLED and Plasma screens.
